The Wales Culture Alliance
is a collective voice of cultural organisations, activists, facilitators, managers, curators, policy makers and freelance artists from across disciplines working together to help form cultural strategy for the post pandemic cultural recovery. It is pan-Wales and pan-sectoral, and includes Local Authorities, museums, creative industries and universities. Our aim is to fully participate in conversations about cultural and funding policy. We have come together to discuss and debate our own future. We seek to collaborate with each other and our stakeholders, and to share and learn from each other.
The Alliance is formed of several working groups, each of which should include a broad cross section of the sector. The working groups discuss their specific areas of concern in detail, and then report back to the main group, which holds meetings twice monthly on Mondays at 12 noon.
